Overview:

Lead development of the marketing communications strategy and across all materials including packaging, collateral, merchandising, and trade show graphics using integrated messaging and a consistent brand ID.

 

Represent the company through communicating a consistent brand image for assigned product categories.

 

Utilize strong creative and MAC design skills to produce collateral, signage, packaging, etc.  On a limited basis utilize external resources.

 

Own and manage timelines, maintain budgets through the use of organization and project management skills.

 

Develop new processes and utilize technology to increase efficiency and reduce costs in projects handled by Marketing Communications.



Responsibilities:

Enforce brand equity with both internal and external customers, vendors, etc.

 

Integrate closely with Body Glove team to understand and participate in key initiatives/projects/customers in order to best meet the team objectives.  This includes active participation in weekly customer update meetings.

 

Provide art direction to the Body Glove team for all creative projects, and assist design agencies in the creation of all new packaging templates.

 

Provide art direction and produce packaging, sales materials, brochures, sell sheets.  Archive all production files on Mac Server and photography on MediaBin.

 

Manage insert card processes and production for Body Glove device-specific products.

 

Vendor quality management - Manage strategic relationships with external vendors and ensure we are getting the best product for the best price.

 

Manage external resources regarding photography, collateral, and instruction sheets/line art.

 

Manage the execution of all tradeshows.  This includes creating themes, managing logistics, and creating and directing production of booth layout/graphics, marketing materials, packaging, etc.  Help communicate and coordinate show schedules, agendas, and meetings.

 

Assist in the development of departmental process improvements and other Marcom projects.

Qualifications:

Education

BS or BA in Graphic Design, Marketing Communications, or related field

 

Work Experience

5-7 years experience in Marketing Communications or a related design position

 

Special Skills

Must enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.  Able to  manage several projects simultaneously per defined timelines and budgets, while being flexible to changes in scope and priorities.

 

Macintosh proficient with strong knowledge of graphics software including Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.

 

Must be proficient in the design and production of high quality artwork. Knowledge of graphics/print industry.

 

Must be creative and have an eye for design.  Able to build relationships, think strategically and drive for results. Strong planning, organizing, and communications skills.  Must enjoy being part of a fast paced team.

 

Able to develop and execute integrated marketing communications strategies that drive brand awareness and purchase. Strong leadership skills required to drive compliance within the organization and with external vendors.
