Information Technology - Systems Support Specialist


System Support Specialists perform a variety of duties. Our core purpose is to take care of our clients’ everyday computer problems that arise. We are on call 24/7, 365. We ensure that one member of the team is always available if our clients need assistance. System support is on the front lines when the company is introducing, testing, and implementing new technology in order to make the clients more productive. We are the face of the IT department.


  • Set up employee accounts and hardware when new employees are hired.
  • Break/Fix problems with desktops, laptop, printers and peripheral equipment at Fellowes.
  • Provide technical assistance & support for software applications and computer systems.
  • Manage, resolve and document Help Desk tickets in a timely fashion.
  • Fix, configure and manage the Radio Frequency units used in the warehouse.
  • Create and maintain training materials.
  • Conduct the New Employee Systems Training (NEST) class.
  • Provide After Hours Support on a rotating basis.



  • 2 to 4 year degree and / or equivalent in hands on experience


  • Demonstrate effective communication, customer care, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
  • Must have a good knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task across a diverse user community.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Operating Systems.
  • Attention to detail and mindful of confidential information.

Other relevant information (hours, travel, etc.)

  • Typically, 40 hours per week except when on call.
