Manage Walmart & Sam’s reporting functions both internally within the company & externally, to the buying teams. Reporting aspects include: Weekly Sales, Inventory, Scorecard & OTIF Reporting; Monday Buyer Reporting, Forecast Ladder Planning, Order Receipt Tracking, Monitoring Item In stocks and Promotional Tracking. Work collaboratively with Fellowes’ Walmart/Sam’s Club Sales Manager and Fellowes sales team as needed. The analyst will also assist in supporting DI & Domestic aspects of the business, in addition to online support. Be THE Retail Link Expert. Support the Fellowes team in an effort to deliver annual growth objectives. Key categories include Storage & Organization, Moving, Lamination & Binding, Shredders & Office Ergonomics. This role reports directly to the Walmart / Sam’s Club National Account Manager.


Weekly Reporting

  • Manage all aspects of internal & external reporting. Internal reports include scorecards, OTIF, Sales & Inventory. Pull weekly reports / raw data from Retail Link and update key reports. Analyze weekly reporting/data and provide comprehensive recap to the internal team for both brick & mortar and online businesses. This includes report development, update and maintenance. 
  • External reporting includes weekly recap of key measures, reported to Walmart & Sam’s buyer every Monday (in stocks, units/store/week, scorecard metrics, key callouts, etc.). Pulled from Retail Link. 
  • Forecast Ladder Planning. This process includes working with the Fellowes sales and forecast teams (on a bi-weekly basis) to compare forecasts in the customer’s system vs actual orders. 
  • Analyst will also communicate with the account replenishment manager (and participate in bi-weekly phone &/or in-person meetings), in an effort to identify opportunities and improve business. 
  • Track sales for items on rollback identifying how rollback pricing impacts the entire assortment current year and YOY if rollback not repeated (as needed, if RB in place, weekly).
  • Monitor competitive landscape of competitive landscape with weekly ad & price point analysis.
  • Track PO’s to ensure on-time delivery & % in full completion.


Ongoing Reporting & Tasks:

  • Support various requests from Fellowes Sales manager, leadership and account buying teams, as needed
  • Assist in DI and Domestic process as needed. This includes order modifications (on the back end), for both DI and domestic order in addition to interfacing with Walmart’s Global Business team & Fellowes sourcing team, as needed.
  • Provide insights &/or recommendations for assortment “gaps” & opportunities based on performance.
  • Assist with assortment changes and completion of forms that may be required (for instore & online)
  • Provide seasonal promo recaps following key periods (Tax Time, Back to School, Holidays, etc.)
  • Assist the Sales Manager in completing yearly market assessments & retailer comp shops
  • Analyze market basket and purchase quantity sales to identify trends in customer buying habits 
  • Walk stores on a regular basis (&/or as needed) to compile/maintain pricing info, monitor POG integrity, investigate competitive landscape and assess promotional execution.
  • Stay current on articles and trade magazines

  • Analytical, a strategic thinker, planner, self-starter 
  • Possess the ability to synthesize large amounts of data, analyze performance, identify trends & category insights
  • Ability to deliver fact based recommendations that drive profitable growth 
  • Proficiency in Power Point, Word and Advanced Excel
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing is a plus
  • Must possess excellent math skills and ability to apply logical formulas to excel spreadsheets
  • Must have a good understanding of retail & general merchandising principles
  • Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in CPG with minimum 3 years Walmart analytical experience
  • Proven Track Record of Results
