    The Role

     

    You will work with a number of teams to execute activities in support of the global supply chain for Fellowes Mobile, with goals to maximize speed to market, improve efficiencies and ensure cost management. You will also manage projects that will empower you to make critical recommendations and offer input on new methodologies and processes.

     

    You Will…

     

    • Manage suppliers, company assets and service levels to maximize ROI for Mobile accessories
    • Support the new product development process, to include:
    • Ensuring SKU set up/item set up and coordinate all associated resources.
    • Determining minimum order quantities (MOQs) to support orders
    • Placing PO for first production runs
    • Ensuring all S&P activities are executed to meet timelines
    • Execute the ASCP plan to ensure KPI objectives are met
    • Support inventory management by executing inventory plans, transferring material between global distribution centers and organizing data for excess and discontinued inventory reviews
    • Manage purchase orders and logistics
    • Contribute to effective financial management; receive payments, resolve discrepancies, issue debt memos and track costs for accurate margin analysis
    • Put in extra time beyond a 40-hour work week (to include evenings and weekends) in support of key projects and conference calls with our overseas partners 
    • Travel domestically and internationally (Asia) up to 10 percent

     

    What You Bring to the Team

     

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in planning/purchasing, to include experience in an ERP and/or materials management software
    • A positive, hard-working attitude and flexibility during times of change
    • The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
    • An eagerness to be challenged
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Cross-functional team leadership
    • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
    • A high sense of urgency while also maintaining an excellent attention to detail
    • A proficiency in MS Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

     

    You May Also Have

     

    • Experience in an OEM or manufacturing environment
    • Consumer product experience
    • Knowledge and interest in mobile technology
    • Experience managing purchasing spend
    • Experience working in Oracle
    • Experience in Business Process Improvement (BPI)
    • Exposure to JIT, TQM, TOC
    • APICS, CPIM or NAPM CPM certification
